As of November, 2018 Life Saving Victoria vacated their old 480MHz conventional analogue allocations and transitioned to the Regional Mobile Radio (RMR) Network.
The RMR Network is based on a VHF P25 Trunking platform and is used across the state in conjunction with the UHF P25 Trunking Metropolitan Mobile Radio Network for Emergency Services and government support agencies.
