Motorola GTR 8000 Expandable Site Subsystem
Over recent months Telstra and interested stakeholders within the Victorian Government have been addressing coverage issues in some areas of the RMR Networks footprint.
It is believed Telstra put forward a proposal for some additional sites and has also proposed location alterations for some existing sites to assist in addressing those coverage issues.
Additional RMR sites were purportedly proposed at Frankston North, Berwick, Tooradin and Monbulk, while the existing low power site at Frankston Fire Station, which was being used itself to cover a blackspot for the interim, would possibly be relocated to Kallista and the existing RMR site at Mooroolbark East possibly to be relocated to Mooroolbark North.
Some of the geographical areas covered by these proposals include Frankston North, Langwarrin, Skye, Carrum Downs, Berwick, Beaconsfield, Tooradin, Koo Wee Rup, Devon Meadows, Monbulk, Kallista, The Patch, Sherbrook, Emerald, Lilydale, Chirnside Park, Montrose and Mooroolbark.
Recently some allocations for some of the above mentioned locations have now commenced appearing on the ACMA Database.
With the addition of new sites we should probably expect to see a an update for the Pacific Telecommunications CFA Uniden BCD436-PT and UBCD536-PT series scanners at some point.
